How can we help?
eduroam (education roaming) allows users (researchers, teachers, students, staff) from participating institutions to securely access the Internet from any eduroam participating institution. The eduroam principle is based on the user's home institution authenticating the user, whereas the authorisation decision allowing access to network resources is by the visited network.
SMU guests and visitors who have a need to access the Internet may connect wirelessly to the SMU Guest/Visitor Wireless Network (SSID: SMU_Visitor).
The service allows SMU’s guests, including event participants, and conference visitors to access and browse the Internet using their own computing or mobile devices via SMU’s campus-wide high-speed wireless network.
Users should take note of the following in using this service by IITS:

Student printing and copying services are chargeable and are handled by a vendor appointed by SMU. Payment may be made by Ez-link/Nets FlashPay or SGQR (eg: PayNow). Students can submit the document via web browsers from anywhere with an internet connection and release and collect their printouts from the location of their choice in the library and common spaces in the schools.
Using the Equipment
Audio & video facilities and the teaching tools in our Seminar rooms and Classrooms are managed via the Touch panel.
This includes switching on and off the Projectors, selecting the input source, setting the audio volume from the source devices such as laptop or the classroom desktop PC and the wireless microphone as well.
